First Steps (for Admins)
There are two essential steps that an Admin needs to do for the Price Book function to work correctly:
- Create the price book template to be used for price book exports. Creating a template will set up the general formatting for your reps. Once you do this, they can quickly make and export a price book from the Wines page.
- Update each producer with the pertinent information to be displayed on any export.
1. Setting Up Your Price Book Template (Admin only)
- Go to the admin panel by clicking on My Account in the top right
- Click Manage on the upper left of Your Profile page
- Click on Manage Price Book Template under the Manage section on the left-hand navigation
- Click Create A New Template on the upper left
- Create a title (this is an internal value)
- When you are finished, select Save
- Click on the template name you just created
- Populate the template
- Note: the company logo used on this template is stored at the My Account level
- Select Save
2. Update Your Producers' Information (Admin only)
Two fields at the Producer level organize the price book: Country and Region. There is also a place to add information about the Producer.
- Click on the Producers tab
- Click on a Producer
- Next, click on Edit
- The following items are used in the price book
- Country
- Region
- About/Info
- Farming Practice
- The following items are used in the price book
