Delivery methods are what populate the Deliver Via dropdown during order confirmation. These delivery methods are created at the supplier level. Delivery methods indicate where the wine is coming from. Typically, the delivery method indicates the warehouse the wine is being shipped from, however, the delivery method Generic is often used for manual deliveries or special circumstances not encountered in your typical workflow. 

 

Create a New Delivery Method: PART 1

CREATE A METHOD AT THE SUPPLIER LEVEL

  1. Navigate to the Wines tab
  2. In the left-hand navigation under Suppliers, click on Manage Suppliers
  3. Click on the supplier you would like to add a delivery method for
  4. In the left-hand navigation under Suppliers, click on Delivery Methods
  5. In the left-hand navigation under Delivery Methods, click on Add Method
  6. Select a method for Delivery Via from the dropdown menu. Use "Generic" for a new delivery method 
  7. Give a Title 
  8. Choose whether it is the Default or Not
  9. At the bottom, select if you would like the orders from this delivery method to be available via batch. 
  10. Click the blue Save button

*Note*Export Properties Process Version must be at #2 if you want to push orders to the pending deliveries screen. To check this, go into the supplier, click on edit, scroll down to the bottom, and ensure the Properties Process Version is at 2

TURN ON INTEGRATIONS AT THE REPRESENTATION LEVEL

  1. After you have created the method at the supplier level, you must turn it on for the representation. Navigate to My Account in the top right-hand corner
  2. Click on Manage in the left-hand navigation
  3. Click on Edit in the left-hand navigation
  4. Scroll down to Warehousing/Order Entry
  5. Ensure all the warehouse integrations you want visible during order confirmation are checked
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue Save button
