Account Loves are a way for sales reps to interact with their accounts and track that activity. If an Account has not been loved in a certain amount of time, Vinosmith will remind the user to reach out to / communicate with that Account.

This system helps ensure that Accounts do not fall below the cracks.

  1. Accounts are organized by priority. The user goes into the Accounts tab and clicks Manage Priorities. They can then select High, Medium, or Low for each account (the default priority is Medium.)

  2. The next step is to set the days threshold that can pass until an account becomes Unloved. The threshold day management is on the My Account page: click My Account in the top right corner, and there is a field to enter a number for each High, Medium, and Low.

  3. An Administrator sets what constitutes a Love: Go to your Management screen and see a section for Unloved Accounts. Vinosmith defaults to allow all forms of communication (in person, email, SMS, postal mail, or phone call), tasting created, or order created that will trigger a Love.

Once all these pieces are in place, the sales reps begin using the system. Vinosmith tracks the accounts based on their priorities and the date threshold. An example is if the threshold for high-priority accounts is 7 days, and that account goes without a communication, tasting, or order, they become unloved. They will then appear on the list at the bottom of the dashboard screen, organized by priority and how many accounts in each priority level are unloved. If the rep clicks on one of these numbers, it takes them to a page of all the unloved accounts, organized by priority and how long they have gone without a love.

Note: The unloved activity is refreshed each morning, not in real-time.
