A corporate group or account can be assigned a commission rate that can be used to calculate sales rep commission.

To add a commission percentage to a Corporate Group

From the Account page

  • On the left-hand side navigation, click on Manage under Corporate Group
  • Click on the Corporate Group
  • Click Edit
  • Add the commission %.
  • Click Save
  • Click the blue Commissions: Refresh Accounts on the left-hand navigation to push the commission percentage to the account.

To add a commission percentage to an individual Account

  • Click on an account
  • Click Edit Account
  • Add commission %
  • Click Save 

Batch updating an Account's Commission Percentage

Account Commission Percentage can be updated via batch as well. Please see the article below.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT append the % sign to the value in the Excel file. 

Commission rates are applied based on the following rules: 
  1. If an Account has a non-zero Commission Rate, it will be used.
  2. If a Line Item is linked to a Price with a Commission Rate, it will be used.
  3. If the Sales Rep has a non-zero Global Commission Rate, it will be used.
  4. The commission rate when running the report will be applied for all other scenarios.
  5. For Order/Line Items with Custom prices, specify a non-zero value in the Custom Price Commission (%) box to use that Commission % Rate; otherwise, the value in the above rule set will be applied.

 

Note: Only Admin users can add or update an Account's commission percentage.
