Often times you need to create multiple wines that are similar to an existing wine. A common use-case is needing to create a new vintage from an existing vintage.

Vinosmith provides a Clone function which allows you to do just that. The core properties of the source wine are cloned into a copy and you can then make all of your needed changes.

Please note: Vinosmith will auto-generate a unique Wine Code which you can then update as needed.

How to Clone a Wine:

  1. Pull up the source Wine you would like to copy.
  2. In the left click on the link for Clone Wine
  3. Your copy is created and you are taken to the copied version 
  4. Click Edit
  5. Key fields to update include: wine name, wine code (a new code is auto-generated) and vintage
